Andy Downer has been working in the insurance industry for over 15 years in within the various claims department as a Claims Handler, Trainer, Investigator and Loss Adjuster. He has completed many of the ANZIIF Loss Adjusting papers achieving a Distinction Pass in all, and was awarded the Highest Module Winner in 2012 for the LA Liability paper obtaining a High Distinction pass.
Prior to insurance Andy worked as a Police Officer in the UK working in uniformed duties and finally in the SID (Specialist Investigation Department). He therefore possesses strong investigation ability whilst maintaining professionalism and empathy.
