Citywide Assessors now has a Bay of Plenty hub!
Citywide Assessors is pleased to let you know that we’ve opened a loss adjusting service hub in the Bay of Plenty, based in Tauranga. With back up support from Auckland, we now look after Material Damage, Contract Works, Business Interruption and Liability claims for both commercial and domestic clients in the Bay of Plenty region.
Combining this new service with our existing offering, our loss adjusting cover now encompasses the entire upper North Island. Keith Barnes joins the Citywide Assessors team
We’re pleased to welcome Keith Barnes to Citywide Assessors as a Senior Loss Adjuster based in the Bay of Plenty region.
Keith specialises in loss adjusting for general material damage claims including liability and has vast experience in the construction industry.
Keith is a qualified and accomplished builder and also a qualified Quantity Surveyor with over 25 years’ experience served between both professions.
He is an ANZIIF (Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance) qualified Senior Loss Adjuster with 7 years’ Industry experience in a variety of loss adjusting roles.
Keith specialises in applying his quantity surveying skills with that of loss adjusting, in successfully managing large loss claims through negotiation, pricing strategy and strong operations skills. He is experienced in Fire and General, Liability, Commercial and also larege catastrophic events such as the Christchurch earthquake.
He effectively headed the Edgecumbe floods for a lead insurer, where he proudly managed all of the content’s salvage / inventory, demolition as necessary and reconstruction whilst still monitoring quality assurance and local authority conformity.
Keith’s life time skills enable him to exact a professional result in whatever he undertakes through providing and transmitting solutions in sometimes complex and emotional situations.
He is able to apply knowledge and skills in demonstrating autonomy, judgement and defined responsibility within changing contexts and within broad but established parameters
